What is the service JLetter offers?
JLetter is a newsletter, publishing platform, and online gallery for my writing, artwork, videos, and podcasts.
How does JLetter work?
JLetter is very simple. You either subscribe via email or you can read past letters here.
There are two types of JLetter subscriptions. There is the free JLetter and the Extra Special JLetter.
In each free letter, there is an illustration with a discount link to order a framed print, a personal story from my life, two free videos, and a podcast.
For Extra Special subscribers, there is a third video on wellness, a printable download of the illustration, and an increased discount on the framed print.
How often do you send the newsletter?
I send out the JLetter at least every other week. I do aim to publish weekly, though because I live off-grid in the wilderness, that sometimes isn’t possible.
What day do I get your newsletter?
I dispatch letters on Fridays at 4.44 pm GMT.
Do I have to create a user account?
At the moment, I don’t offer user accounts as this is a newsletter and not a membership site. However, I may create a membership site with other content in the future. For now, all you need to do is sign up with your name and email.
How much is the subscription?
There are two different subscription options. The first is monthly at £20 per month. The second is annual (yearly) which saves you 50% at £120 per year.
What do I get for the subscription?
The subscription is for the Extra Special JLetters. That gives you a special wellness video, a printable version of the illustration, and an extra discount if you want to buy a framed print from me.
What happens to my payment details?
I use Stripe and PayPal to process your payment details, so they handle that for you. I don’t store or retain anything sensitive like that.
How do I cancel my subscription?
It’s easy to cancel your subscription. All you have to do is go to the subscription page here. There will always be links to the subscription page in every letter you get via email or on the website.
Once you reach the subscription page, choose ‘CHANGE’ then add your email and select what you want from the drop-down.
You can either downgrade your regular emails or unsubscribe from all emails. Either way, I’ll cancel your subscription payments from that point onward and you won’t be billed again.
Please be aware that you have to cancel your subscription at least one day before the next payment leaves your account. Otherwise, you may be billed again.
When you do cancel or downgrade you will immediately stop receiving my Extra Special letters. If you are downgrading the next letter you receive will be my regular free JLetter.
Can I downgrade or upgrade my subscription?
Yes, as I mentioned above you can manage your subscription any way you want.
If you downgrade from Extra Special your subscription will be canceled and you will start receiving my free letters.
You can upgrade again anytime you want. To do that, simply head to the subscription page here and click the ‘SUBSCRIBE’ button.
Can I get a refund for my subscription?
Subscription fees are non-refundable, as they give you access to content while you are subscribed. I don’t offer refunds on previously paid subscription fees.
Do you offer customer support in case something doesn’t work?
Yes. You can always reach me by either replying to the newsletter email itself or by going to my contact page here.

How do I unsubscribe from all emails?
You can either do that via the link in each email or by visiting the subscription page. Please note, that if you have an Extra Special subscription, you can’t cancel that subscription via the unsubscribe link in the email. To cancel subscription payments, visit the subscription page here.
